On July 19, 2022 an announcement from Dugard Communications introduced the Tennessee Minority-Owned Wine & Spirits Association and named seven founding brands. The same release described a retail collaboration with Last Chance Liquors. Independent reporting in the Nashville Scene on August 31, 2022 covered the association and Jason Ridgel's organizing work.
